Low Frequency (LF) RFID
Jan 24, 2018

Low Frequency (LF) RFID It's usually called ID card ,is a band on the radio frequency spectrum that typically operates between 125 kHz and 134 kHz. Technically, LF applications can operate on a larger frequency spectrum from 30 kHz to 300 kHz;and it is passive card, however, the specific  frequency varies from country to country and depends on frequencies set aside for radio and marine life tracking.
LF RFID communicates in a similar fashion to HF/NFC RFID in that it uses electromagnetic coupling to send and receive signals. Below are a few facts about LF RFID:
1:Only small amounts of data can be stored on the tags.
2:LF tags are typically smaller than other types of RFID tags.
3:LF systems have shorter read ranges than both HF and UHF RFID.
4:LF tags are able to operate around liquid or metal items.
5:LF tags require less energy to operate.
6:The main application for LF RFID is animal tracking.access control system

    7:The main chips are:TK4100,EM4100,EM4305,T5577,etc
